A creamy, fibre-rich snack with over 65g of protein per batch
Say hello to your new favourite high-protein snack! This Pistachio Protein Hummus is rich, nutty, and packed with over 65g of plant-based protein per batch thanks to chickpeas, pistachios, and LØUCO Protein Powder.
It’s high in fibre, full of healthy fats, and so addictive you’ll want to make it on repeat. Serve it with crackers, crudités, or spread it on toast. It’s one of those recipes that’s as versatile as it is flavourful.

Ingredients
- 100g pistachios (shelled)
- 1 tin chickpeas (drained & rinsed)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 6 tbsp water (plus more as needed)
- A bunch of fresh basil leaves
- 40g LØUCO Protein Powder
- Salt & pepper to season
Method
- In a blender, combine chickpeas, pistachios, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, and olive oil. Blend until mostly smooth.
- Add cumin, paprika, LØUCO Protein Powder, basil leaves, water, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Blend again until creamy.
- Adjust the consistency with more water if needed. Taste and season as desired.
- Serve topped with chilli oil, crushed pistachios, and fresh basil leaves.
