Ingredients
- 2 crisp apples
- 100g dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 20g LØUCO Protein Powder
- Pumpkin seeds, to top
- Cacao nibs, to top
Method
- Core the apples and slice into thick rings (about 1cm thick). Pat dry with kitchen paper to help the toppings stick.
- In a heatproof bowl, melt dark chocolate over simmering water or in short bursts in the microwave.
- In a separate bowl, mix almond butter and LØUCO Protein Powder until smooth.
- Spread the almond butter mixture on each apple ring.
- Drizzle or dip with melted dark chocolate.
- Top with pumpkin seeds and cacao nibs for crunch and hormone-supporting minerals.
- Transfer to the fridge for 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
- Serve chilled or store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
