Protein Heart Jam Cookies
A nostalgic “jammy dodger” classic, upgraded with protein.
These Heart Jam Cookies are a simple, feel-good bake made with real ingredients and a scoop of LØUCO for a functional twist. Soft, lightly sweet, and filled with fruity jam, they’re perfect for sharing, or enjoying with a cup of tea when sweet cravings hit.

Ingredients
- 1 scoop (20g) LØUCO Protein Powder (Nourish or Perform)
- ½ cup plain flour
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 40g jam (raspberry or strawberry works beautifully)
Method
- Preheat oven to 175–180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and LØUCO protein powder.
- Stir in melted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla until a soft dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and cut into shapes using cookie cutters.
- Place onto the prepared tray.
- Press the back of a spoon into the centre of each cookie to create a heart-shaped indent.
- Spoon jam into each indent.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
LØUCO Tip
Chill the dough for 10 minutes before rolling if it feels too soft, this helps the cookies hold their shape while baking.
